McLibel leaflet was co-written by undercover police officer Bob Lambert | UK news | The Guardian.

The UK.pigs placed an undercover operative in an anti-McD activism group who ended up rising in their ranks and wrote an anti-McD leaflet that sparked a multi-million dollar legal action against the activists. THE PIGS WROTE THE LEAFLET, you understand? They wrote it, they got a bunch of people put on trial for it and only now are finally being forced to admit it.

I feel the same way about this as I do about "Anonymous" and their "leader" rolling on his peeps. Take the pigs seriously because they take you seriously. When you stare into the void yadda yadda. This is ultimately the #1 dilemma of all activsts / organizers / underground cell leaders / etc: joiners are usually not what you need. Anyone who wants to join your little fight club is probably useless or perhaps something that goes "oink" in the night.

The first rule of fight club is not "don't talk about fight club." If you have to TELL your people not to talk about it then it isn't fight club, it's a circle-jerk of some kind. The first, second and third rules of fight club are and have always been: don't get caught. If you take this rule seriously then a lot of other things follow. It slows you down but at least you don't end up in the dock staring down a team of million-dollar lawyers for SOMETHING THEY DID TO BEGIN WITH.
