The Confidential Memo at the Heart of the Global Financial Crisis | VICE United Kingdom.
This is one of several articles at this vice.com place that have caught both of our eyes recently; they have several sister sites, including one focused on MMA, one on hacking culture, news, etc. Interesting. It is also interesting that Rupert Murdoch has dropped a boatload of money on them recently.
Meta-observations aside this story is both significant and boring at the same time. The conspiracy theory/fact that the current financial crisis was architected by the usual list of "Smart Guy" suspects in the 90's and is finally rolling into an end-game phase seen long ago by those in the know certainly seems to be supported by this post. The whole idea has been hammered on so much in the last few years that it almost seems irrelevant anymore. Yeah, the pigs run the show. Yeah, nobody gets it. Blah blah blah.
Here, put these sunglasses on: THEN you'll understand EVERYTHING.
