India's food security act: Myths and reality - Opinion - Al Jazeera English.

I feel compelled to post a pointer to any article I find by Vandana Shiva. She is a pissed off old campaigner for sensible, non-corporate food on all levels. She also tirelessly calls out the powerful on their greed, incompetence and arrogance when it comes to making decisions that destroy access to food for millions of people. I don't understand how she maintains such a positive attitude as she is frequently writing about some of the most horrible things. In this article she is pointing out yet again the real reasons behind the "reforms" in India and what they really mean to millions of the poorest, hungriest people on the planet.
